As of the 1st of December 2022, the Fair Job Code took effect. This Code added a requirement that all businesses that apply for government grants in Victoria, must hold a Pre-Assessment Certificate. This certificate confirms that the business has a history of complying with existing industrial relations and workplace health and safety laws.

The certificate can be applied for now using the following link. There is no need for a business to apply if they are already in the middle of an application. Businesses can apply so that they are ready for the future.
